Common Scents — Return & Refund Policy

We hope you love your Common Scents products. If something isn't right, please contact us at commonscents64@gmail.com and we'll be happy to help.

Change-of-mind returns

If you purchase from us online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, please contact us at commonscents64@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

Once you notify us that you wish to cancel, you must return the goods to us within a further 14 days.

In addition to your statutory rights, Common Scents offers a 30-day return window for eligible products. You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

To request a return online, sign in to your customer account and select the relevant order to submit a return request. You can also contact us at commonscents64@gmail.com if you have any questions about a return.

Items should be returned unused and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning it.

We recommend retaining proof of postage when returning an item.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if an item is damaged, faulty, not as described, or if you have received the wrong product.

Email commonscents64@gmail.com with your order details and, where helpful, photographs showing the problem.

If goods are faulty, your rights are protected under Irish consumer law. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement. If a fault arises within 30 days of receiving the goods, you generally have the right to return the product and seek a full refund.

Common Scents will cover reasonable return costs where goods are faulty or otherwise do not conform to your order.

Exceptions

Certain goods may be exempt from the statutory cooling-off right where an exception under applicable consumer law applies.

Please contact us if you are unsure whether your item can be returned.

This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Exchanges

If you would like a different product or fragrance, please contact us at commonscents64@gmail.com.

Where a change-of-mind return is accepted, the simplest option will normally be to return the original item and place a new order for your preferred product.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll let you know that your refund is being processed.

Eligible refunds will be made to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process the refund after it has been issued.

Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel an online order, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable Irish consumer law.
